This Year, Take Care of Yourself Before the Holiday Chaos Begins 🌟

Release Stress Before the Holidays, So You Can Show Up as the Best Version of Yourself

The holidays are a time for connection, joy, and making memories with loved ones. But they can also bring stress, overwhelm, and emotional triggers — especially when we haven’t had the time or space to process the buildup of the year. 😌

📍 Ontario, OR
🗓️ Thursday, November 21st
⏰ 6:00pm–7:30pm
🕊 Early Bird tickets end tonight (11/14), so don’t wait to save your spot!

What if you could regulate your nervous system before the chaos begins? Imagine stepping into the holiday season feeling grounded, clear, and present. 🌟

When you’re able to manage your stress, you can show up as your true, authentic self — not weighed down by old tensions or emotional overload.

💡 Why is this important?

When we’re overwhelmed or stressed, our ability to be present with others diminishes.

We might snap, shut down, or withdraw. By calming the nervous system before time with family, we give ourselves the gift of presence — to truly be with others and enjoy the moments that matter most.

➡️ Sign up now and give yourself the gift of peace before the holidays. Follow the link in our bio to save your spot!

Isn’t it freeing to realize that while we can’t change what’s happened, we hold the power to change our perspective?

This quote reminds us that our past experiences don’t have to define us. Instead, they can be stepping stones toward personal growth and transformation.

Each of us carries stories that shape who we are, but those stories can evolve. By shifting how we relate to our past, we open up space for healing, understanding, and empowerment.

Imagine letting go of the weight of your past and reclaiming your narrative. You have the strength to rewrite your story, one small step at a time.

The breath is a powerful tool to process the past - on a body-centered level. When we begin by working with the body, the mind will naturally follow. This is your space to release the past that your body is holding onto so you can tell yourself more beautiful, hopeful, and positive stories about the world.

Let’s focus on what we can do today to embrace our journey. Whether it’s practicing self-compassion, seeking support, or setting intentions for the future, every action counts!

What’s one small change you’re ready to make to empower yourself? Share below and let’s inspire each other! 👇❤️

How do we bring awareness to the unconscious parts of ourselves that are silently controlling our lives?

The answer lies in entering “unordinary states of consciousness” — states where we can bypass the everyday noise of the mind and tap into deeper layers of our subconscious. These are the states where patterns, beliefs, and emotions that have been shaping our experiences without us even realizing it can come to light.

Unordinary states of consciousness aren’t just about “escaping” reality, they’re about seeing it differently. They allow us to step outside the conditioned, repetitive patterns of our everyday mind and access the parts of us that are often hidden, suppressed, or neglected. 🧘‍♀️✨

The breath is a powerful tool to access these states. Through conscious breathwork, we can shift our brainwaves, open up the nervous system, and enter a state where the subconscious becomes more accessible. As we breathe, we drop into the present moment, and those hidden parts of ourselves — the ones holding onto past trauma, limiting beliefs, or old patterns — can rise to the surface.

When we recognize these subconscious parts, we empower ourselves to re-pattern them. We can heal and rewire our nervous system, breaking free from cycles of stress, anxiety, and emotional blocks. 🌀 By seeing and accepting the parts of ourselves that have been holding us back, we create space for new ways of being, and ultimately, a better life.

Breathwork helps us break free from the unconscious grip, giving us the awareness we need to take control of our lives and shift our reality. 🌿

Somatic Breathwork is a direct experience of healing and transformation. Your body is designed to naturally grow through stress. Without this natural stress release, the pressure builds and suppresses your potential in life. Through simple breath techniques, you will engage your natural ability to clear yourself of stress so you can receive more clarity and purpose.

You will be lying down with your eyes closed for the duration of the 60-minute breathwork session. Our team of trauma-informed practitioners will guide you through verbal cues, intentional music, and optional hands-on touch. Somatic breathwork is designed to be uncomfortable - you may feel emotions or sensations that you haven’t felt before and you are encouraged to feel them fully. You may leave your session feeling a deep connection with yourself and your potential in life.

Somatic breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, for persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your physician(s). Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their physician(s).

Not all breathwork is created equal. Though other types of breathwork may be called “somatic breathwork”, the facilitators may not be formally trained or trauma-informed. Somatic Breathwork is a deeply vulnerable experience which is why all facilitators with Exhale Boise are required to be certified and trauma informed. We prioritize creating a professional, safe, and supportive environment that will provide you the tools and resources needed to safely navigate your breathwork journey.

Your body changes slowly - the key to your practice is consistency. It’s normal to experience resistance to your practice because it can be uncomfortable. We encourage you to listen to your body as your guide for how often to experience a full session but to not let resistance hold you back. Some people come weekly while others come monthly. As you progress in your journey, we encourage you to use somatic breathwork regularly as a preventative tool so that stress doesn’t accumulate in your body.

Testimonials

  • “My experience this last time was very powerful and eye opening. It’s helped me realize that I have been so hard on myself in some ways and has helped me take a step back while providing more grace and acceptance of where I am at in life. Which is huge.

Throughout this process I have realized I am not alone and also that not everything is about me. And that is a beautiful lesson in itself.”

    Dylan Mason

  • “It was an extraordinary experience. I truly felt supported during my journey. You are a graceful facilitator and provide an environment for people to thrive.”
    Jerri Mizrahi

  • “I really enjoyed the session. I am glad I didn't "force" any sort of release during the session....just allowed me to take it at my own pace and honor what I was feeling...in that moment.”
    Cara Gilligan

  • "I had a profound experience where I was sitting with my deeply wounded inner child. During this experience, Mariah held me in my sorrow. She guided me through, helping me find the light, she sat with my inner little girl who didn’t believe anyone saw her. I’m grateful she was a steward over this experience and was the one to safely remind me to lean in to where the breath was bringing me - back home.”
